The main mount switches to /backup when its source disconnects, provided a compatible backup feed is connected. It returns to the main source when it reconnects. Keep the same codec, bitrate and sample rate for both feeds.
A failure of this Ubuntu server needs an independent listening URL, such as your existing Broadcast.Radio stream. That player fallback still needs configuring.
Latency must be measured with the encoder and listener devices. The server has no live latency measurement.
